“What if the past refused to stay buried?”
Can’t Press Rewind
When journalist Press London returns to his hometown for a childhood friend’s funeral, he stumbles into a web of secrets — some about the people he grew up with and others buried deep within himself.
Written entirely in the Notes app on an iPhone, Can’t Press Rewind is a literary mystery about grief, memory, and the impossible desire to rewrite the past.
About the Author
Adam Stanco is a writer, father, husband, and lifelong storyteller. For over two decades, he has crafted emotionally resonant narratives across journalism, sports media, and television—always drawn to the quiet moments and buried truths that define the human experience.
His debut novel, Can’t Press Rewind, was written entirely in the Notes app on his iPhone— a two-year journey shaped by stolen moments and sleepless nights. A haunting blend of literary fiction and psychological suspense, the book explores memory, grief, and the impossible desire to rewrite the past.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Adam now lives outside of Nashville with his wife and their four children — three daughters and a son — who remind him daily what it means to feel deeply and live presently.
“Some memories fade. Others won’t let go.”
